
Frederico Azevedo
1977, Born in Lisbon ine completed the advanced course in photography at the Ar.Co. school of Portugal in 2003. In 2005 he moved to Berlin and thanks to collaborations with contemporary maters as Michael Ackerman and Adam Cohen he started to mature the vision
that has led him to a more complete artistic awareness. In 2010 he won the first prize at the FNAC NEW TALENTS. In 2013 he was part of the TEMPS ZERO collective for the exhibition in Berlin, Paris and Toulouse
In 2017 at the Fotofabrik of Berlin he exposed the project “Marge” together with Vincent Beeckman. After many trips to India he is now working at a project regarding Varanasi, Kolkata and Delhi.
AT THE EDGE OF LOVE
My photographic style is marked by the sometimes violent sometimes soft desire of photographing life in all its incarnations, the relationships with others, the rawness of the world, and mostly this antagonist feeling that inhabit ourselves sometimes, this thing we call Love.
